This is a terminal provided for the purpose of equipotential bonding of the CES or the TRC to the main earthing bar, main earthing conductor or sub-main earthing conductor of the electrical installation.

Note:
The CET provides a demarcation between the electrical earthing system and the telecommunications earthing system and was formerly known as a "bonding terminal".
